1. Marinate

Combine vinegar, soy sauce, ginger, salt, and pepper. Add the chicken and marinate for 30 minutes.

2. Dredge in cornstarch

Dredge the marinated chicken in cornstarch.

3. Dunk in egg

Dunk the dredged chicken in egg.

4. Then in cornstarch again

Dredge the chicken again in the cornstarch.

5. Arrange in the air fryer

Arrange the chicken in a single layer in the air fryer basket and spritz or brush with oil.

6. Air fry until golden

Air fry the chicken until golden brown on one side. Flip and cook to golden brown and crisp.

7. Make the sauce

Stir together the sauce ingredients.

8. Toss chicken w/ sauce

Toss the cooked chicken pieces with the sauce and garnish with sesame seeds and scallions, if desired.
