About Robin

I’m Robin Donovan, and I’m the creative force behind All Ways Delicious. That means that I develop the recipes, test the recipes, write the posts, and shoot the photos (and, because apparently one food blog wasn’t enough, I do the same for my two other blogs, Eggs All Ways and All The Noodles).

I grew up in Berkeley, California, where my mom was a professional food writer long before that was even a legitimate job title. Being obsessed with food pretty much came with the territory. These days my office is our kitchen table, which is either the best or worst work setup, depending on how you feel about finding flour in your keyboard. I love it because the kitchen is my happy place.

I’ve been developing recipes professionally for more than 25 years. At this point, I have developed thousands of them, which has somehow added up to more than 40 cookbooks, including the bestselling Campfire Cuisine, Outdoor Gourmet, Ramen Obsession, The Mediterranean Table, Deceptively Easy Dessert Cookbook, 5-Ingredient Cooking for Two, and Ramen for Beginners. I’ve also been a food journalist since the early 2000s. My articles appear in places like Food & Wine, the Mercury News, HuffPost, the Chicago Sun-Times, the Seattle Times, the Baltimore Sun, and the Hartford Courant, and are syndicated by the Associated Press. My recipes also appear on popular food sites, including Buzzfeed, PopSugar, Delish, The Kitchn, Punchfork, Parade, Foodgawker, and more.

I started my first blog back in 2010, and rebranded it as All Ways Delicious in 2018. Since then, I’ve established two new food blogs, Eggs All Ways and All The Noodles, and food blogging has been my bread and butter and how I support my family. 

I’m an active member of the Bay Area, national, and international food blogging communities, and I regularly participate in food industry events and travel to blogging conferences like Tastemakers, Everything Food Conference, and the International Food Bloggers Conference. I’ve also judged the International Association of Culinary Professionals’ annual cookbook awards, and I’ve taught cooking classes for kids in underserved Bay Area communities through the nonprofit 18 Reasons.
