About Me

Welcome to All Ways Delicious where I share easy recipes for the world's best dishes. Here on AWD, I aim to share international recipes that remain true to their roots while also being accessible for home cooks in the US. To that end, I offer helpful shortcuts, alternative techniques, and substitutions for hard-to-find ingredients and focus on providing approachable recipes that help home cooks bring international flavors into their own kitchens.

A little more about me

I'm Robin Donovan, founder and creative force here at All Ways Delicious, which means that I am in charge of developing recipes, writing recipes and articles, photography, marketing, and lots of other stuff, too.

I was raised by a foodie (mom was a food writer long before it was a thing) in a foodie town (Berkeley, California), so it's no wonder I've been obsessed with food my whole life. Now I spend my time in the kitchen developing recipes for my cookbooks, this blog, and my other two food blogs, Eggs All Ways and All The Noodles. My office is our kitchen table, which is great because the kitchen is also my happy place.

I am a cookbook author with more than 25 years of recipe development experience. I've developed thousands of recipes and written more than 40 cookbooks, including the bestselling Outdoor Gourmet, Ramen Obsession, Sushi at Home, Deceptively Easy Dessert Cookbook, 5-Ingredient Cooking for Two, and Ramen for Beginners. Check out more of my cookbooks!

I've been a food journalist since 2001 and am an Associated Press syndicated writer. My articles have been featured in Cooking Light, Fitness, Food & Wine, Mercury News, Huffington Post, Chicago Sun-Times, Seattle Times, Baltimore Sun, Hartford Courant, and many other high-profile publications. My blogs and recipes have been featured in Buzzfeed, Pop Sugar, Delish, The Kitchn, Punchfork, Parade, Foodgawker, and more.

I started my first food blog in 2011 and am an active member of the San Francisco Bay Area blogging community as well as the national and international blogging communities. I regularly attend conferences, workshops, and other events including Tastemakers, Everything Food Conference, and the International Food Bloggers Conference and I've been a judge for the annual cookbook awards of the International Association of Culinary Professionals (IACP). I've also taught cooking classes for children in underserved communities in the Bay Area through the nonprofit 18 Reasons.

You can find me on Pinterest, Flipboard, LinkedIn, MuckRack, and Instagram.
